Queen’s University: Ageing Well Research Journal
Queen’s University needed a way to transform complex research on long-term care and Canada’s ageing population into a format that was both accessible and influential. The challenge was to distill dense academic findings into a compelling resource for policymakers and media outlets.
I designed an editorial-style research journal that combined clarity with depth. A custom design system highlighted key statistics, case studies, and recommendations, guiding readers through the material without overwhelming them.
The result was a visually engaging publication that elevated the research, captured attention from decision-makers, and demonstrated how thoughtful design can bridge the gap between academia and actionable policy.
